Is a FENDER AMERICAN DELUXE STRATOCASTER a good guitar?
I’m looking to get a better guitar than the one I’ve had. My current guitar is one of those bundle packs and it’s pretty much a cheap one. I’m wondering how good an American Deluxe is because I’m looking at getting one for 500$
Hello! The newer Fender American Deluxe Stratocasters come from the factory with better pickups (Samarium Cobalt Noiseless), more tone flexibility (the S-1 switching system) plus a number of features to help you stay in tune (the LSR Roller Nut, an upgraded tremolo, and locking machine tuners). They even throw in provision for the Schaller strap locks, which is a very nice touch. Whether or not you like Fender guitars, these are really solid well-made instruments! Even if it is not the current model, for $500 you are getting a fantastic bargain (for a $1400+ guitar!). If you don’t buy it, there will probably be a line of players anxious to make the purchase!
