What gauge strings does a Standard Epiphone Les paul come equipped with?
So i bought an Epiphone Les Paul standard a while back, and I’m thinking its time to change my strings, so I was wondering, what gauge strings does it come with from the factory? I really like the feel of the ones it has and I dont really want to have to re-intonate the guitar if i change the gauge. So yes, if someone could help, that would be awesome.
Most of the ones I have seen come equipped with standard 010 Gibson strings. I’ve also seen a few in stores with 009. However, it is my impression that the factory delivers with 010.
Personally I do find 010 to fit standard tuned Gibsons and Epiphones perfectly, although I tend to use 009 on most Fender guitars.
