is a Kona Thin-Body Acoustic/Electric Guitar, a good guitar for starters?
i want to buy a not so expensive guitar, but a good quality one. this is cheap, but is it good quality?
I’ve never played a Kona guitar, but I’ve read some reviews. From what I understand, most Kona guitars have rather high action (strings far away from the fretboard), which makes them a little challenging to play. Most beginners do better with guitars that have thin necks and low action, since those things make it much easier and more comfortable to move smoothly between chords.

If you can do with an acoustic rather than an acoustic-electric, Jasmine by Takamine makes some great, inexpensive guitars that have thin necks, low action, and sound amazing for the price. They also have overwhelmingly favorable reviews. I’ve played them at guitar stores and was surprised at how nice they are, given their entry-level status and prices. Here are some links:
