I saw a blind man playing this instrument in the subway the other day, I’m really curious as to what the instrument was. It was a small handheld, box shaped instrument. Small enough to hold with both hands and hit triggers or springs with your thumbs – this is what caused the sound. It was electric, and connected to a small 10watt guitar amp through a normal instrument cable.
