I really need help… so i wanna build my own electric guitar but i can find any sites for wood pricing?
i prefer either mahogany, maple, walnut, or korina. and for it to be like a foot and a half long and a foot wide and 2 or 3 inches thick. please help
and no smart ass sexual comments about buying “wood”

not the cheapest site, but it’s very helpful.
Check the yellow pages for a local hardwoods dealer. Walnut probably won’t be too hard to find (you might even be able to find some recycled walnut from old furniture). Most hardwoods places will have mahogany in 2-inch but I’ve never seen Korina sold anywhere. On that website it’s labeled as Limba…. the wood industry is a funny thing.
A wonderful alternative wood to use for guitars is White Ash. I’ve used it myself and it is a great wood to work with. It’s about the same density and weight as hard maple but a lot cheaper and more plentiful. They used it on early telecasters and certain 1970′s models of stratocasters… however its weight is a downside.
