Good electric guitar and amp?
What are some good electric guitars and amps? I want to get a new one but I don’t know which is good. I hear Fender Stratocasters are good. And for an amp I like an amp with a lot of distortion sound.
I like to play bands like Van Halen, Guns N’ Roses, Ozzy, Motley Crue, and metal like Avenged Sevenfold, and sometimes some alternative music too.
And my friend said I should have double pick ups.

First of all, Gibson & Epiphone have a fat sound for rock music like Oxxy and Led Zep etc…
If you are in to Motley, Halen stuff, get a Jackson, 24-fret active electronic guitar. I own a few Gibsons Les Paul but , when I record for heavy riffs and arpeggio-style sweep picking, Jackson has an edge over any Gibsons because of the response due to a fast responsive fingerboard. I love the sustain when you are playing after the 12th fret and up.
Their is ESP which I also own one of their models. But, it’s a matter ofpreference. I use Gibsons for Blues and Heavy rock and the Jackson for the Metal stuff.
edit…wassup Russell. I agree those Peavey are awesome. I use that 98% of the time. The Marshall stack sucks. You crank them to 3 and that is their max. Not so with Peavey.
