How do you remove rust from chrome electric guitar hardware?
I have an Epiphone Les Paul Standard that I bought about a year ago and it has chrome hardware on it. All of a sudden, these two bronze-ish spots on the guitar pop up (one on the bridge and one on a humbucker) and I don’t know how to get rid of them. I’ve already tried using metal polish, steel wool, and soft cloths, but nothing will get rid of it. Is there anything else I can do? (I want to avoid getting new hardware if I can.)

you should let the guitar age as it ages!!!! it won’t affect the sound and that’s all WE care about!!!!
