How much does an electric guitar cost.?
I need to know how much an electric guitar costs. Mainly after a electric guitar. Also how much do medium sized amplifiers cost? I need a guitar like this without the gliter on it.

Depends on what style of music you’re buying it for, but generally, electric guitars can cost from low $50 to ALOT, upwards of $10,000 for some.
Is it absolutely necessary to acquire a guitar similar to that? I believe you should keep your options open as Fender and Gibson aren’t the only quality brands out there.
You can consider looking at a low end Jackson which will cost around $500 AUD or somewhere around there depending on where you buy and how well you can negotiate, Jacksons are affordable, sound good and feel good to play at the same time (musical instruments have a different feel to each other, some will be easier to play than others)
Ibanez, Schecter, ESP are also good brands to look out for but I’d recommend looking at either Jackson or Ibanez first, they’re good quality guitars for relatively cheap price.
GIbson guitars have reduced in quality over the years and have been becoming more expensive, Gibsons usually have the bad G-String trait, which is present in many Gibsons, it’s basically very bad tuning stability on the G-String and fret buzz.
Fenders are good and versatile but a bit over-priced and Squier (sub company of Fender) have been becoming worse while remaining relatively the same, if you compare a 70′s Squier to a FENDER today, the 70′s Squier will be the equivalent of that Fender, guitars were better back in those days.
As for amplifiers, I’d advice to steer away from the Line 6 Spider amps and the Marshall MGs, they’re the low (I mean LOW) quality amplifiers of low, when you try them out, you may like the tone right now, but once your ears develop, you’ll curse yourself for buying them.
Budget amps like the Roland Micro Cube and the VOX AD30VT are the way to go for low end amps, I’d recommend buying a solid-state amp for your first amp, they’re digital and aren’t as hard to care for as their valve counterparts.

EDIT: Just read Joey’s post, please, do not buy a Marshall MG, Marshall have a good reputation, but their solid state amps such as the MG series are truly horrible, they break down on you easily and have horrible tone, if you absolutely MUST get a Marshall amp, go for the valve amps, those are the better Marshalls, don’t get the AVT though, they’re only a little better than the MGs
