A Question about Electric Guitar Amp Sound Effects?
I got a Yamaha RX121Z Electric Guitar and a Randall RX15M 15 Watt Amplifier..
I was wondering if I could get something like an addition to get the Sound Effects.. Or I need to get a new amp?
I only got 2 weeks in guitar experience. So that’s why I’m asking.
Thanks.Since you haven’t been playing guitar very long, I would not generally recommend getting a new amp as a good one will run you at least $500. I’ve been playing electric guitar for about ten years now and I would suggest getting an effects pedal. They are easy to operate and plug directly into your amp. However, this method of acquiring additional effects is not practical if you desire more than a few effects (each pedal only comes with one effect) these single effect pedals will cost at least $100. If you want a lot of effects, your best bet would be to get a new amp instead of buying the pedals individually at $100 a pop. For good effects, I highly recommend Vox amps. This is the amp I use for good effects with many unique effects come standard.
