I doubt that the entire neck is ebony. Most likely only the fretboard is ebony. The neck in the picture is a maple neck with a maple fretboard. You will not be able to bleach ebony out to look like maple. You can remove the fretboard and replace it with a maple fretboard. That takes some guitar building skills. Depending on the type of guitar you have, you may be able to replace your neck. If you have a bolt on neck such as a Strat style guitar, you can buy a replacement neck and bolt it onto your body.
