1953-1954 vintage kay speed demon guitar?
so i am being offered a 1953-1954 vintage kay speed demon guitar for 250. it has a les paul body style and he says it is set up and ready to play but i dont know much about the brand or the sound or even the value. he is also offering a fender deluxe 90watt amp for 200. the one they stopped making, and asking for 450. is this a good deal?
Well the amp new was $400. It is a great amp. Sounds amazing. Cant go wrong with it.
The guitar isn’t awesome, but it isnt a POS either. The amp alone is worth the money.
My advice? Go play it. If you like it, buy it.
The amp might be worth something later on down the road. The guitar will never be worth much. So dont buy it as an investment. If you like the way it plays, and you will use it, go ahead and pick it up.
