Hockey stick/baseball bat engraving company?
I was just in Cooperstown, NY and found a couple of different baseball bat engraving companies that not only engraved the bats but also produced them. These companies would engrave people’s names, team names, numbers, team logos, and whatever you’d want engraved on the bat. There were tons of people in there all the time, and each bat that was engraved went for $75 and up. These people must be making a KILLING! At least that’s what it seemed like, anyway I was thinking of opening up a shop like that but it would also sell custom engraved hockey sticks as well as baseball bats. Where would be a good town to set this business up and does anyone know where I can find a good engraver? Also, what other sports related objects could I produce/engrave custom? How would I start up with this idea, I don’t know where to begin! Thanks.
