I’m thinking about selling my guitar and amp to upgrade. I’m gonna sell them to a consignment shop, just don’t know how much to sell them for.
I have a black Fender Squire Standard Strat guitar and a Frontman 15G amp. They’re both in like new condition, work perfectly. I also have the power cable for the amp and an upgraded cord to connect the guitar and the amp, but would like to keep the cord.
As of now I’m thinking of $250 for both.
When I say for both, I mean in total. $200 for the guitar, $50 for the amp.Hello there,
I believe you are a little high in your asking price. Looked at what the Squier Standard has sold for recently on eBay. Five have sold for $91 or less. One of those sold for only $69. Several others with intial bids of $125 got no bids. One with a $135 buy it now price when unsold.
The Frontman 15 does not bring much. I am sorry but it is not a good amp. I saw 4 that sold for $28 or less. A couple of those only brought $15. A Frontman 15 with a $25 buy it now price recently when unsold.
Yes there are some of those guitars and amps that occasionally sold for more than that. But you really have to look at this range when trying to sell a low end amp or guitar. There are a lot of them available and not a big demand for them. However, if you sell it right away, you may find someone who will pay more to get it as a Christmas gift.
