How do I open the control cavity of my Epiphone Les Paul Special II?
I have unscrewed the screws to the control cavity, but I am having trouble getting the cover off. Can anyone give me help to open it?
Slip a tiny screw driver at the corner of the cover. The reason it doesn’t come off is because they are assembled too quickly and often, the finish is not completely dry.
Just put the mini-screwdriver in the slit (anywhere around the cover) and twist the screwdriver slightly while pushing down. Don’;t forget to put a piece of cloth under the screwdriver in case you slip so as not to mar the finish.
In any event, it will pop out with the least amount of pressure and nothing will break
