Where to place individual effect pedal with boss gt-8?
ive got a compressor and over drive with my gt-8. should i put it guitar>Comp>OD>gt-8>AMP or guitar>gt-8>Comp>OD>Amp. Or does it even matter.
The comp is a matter of preference, try it out before and after your overdrive, and even at the very end of your signal chain. For the overdrive, I wouldn’t recommend putting it anywhere other than before the Gt-8, either as the first in-line or after the compressor, especially if you’ll be using your Gt-8 for any type of EQ, modulation, delay, or wah.
