Strat shielding project… a little help please?

ive got a strat and ive put aluminum foil all over its insides…. theres only one problem: i dunno how to solder XD. would this work?: what if i take a piece of wire and connect the aluminum(from one of the walls) to the claw(in the trem cavity) using electrical tape at both ends…would it work?or any other ways to shield the guitar without soldering?…..
yes i am trying to shield it from the humming noise… and my question was: is there any other way to connect the aluminum to the ground wires?(ie. without soldering)actually aluminum foil can short out the Electronics.
what are you trying to shield it from?
is it making a humming noise ? if so you must solder the ground wire (usually black)
