Should I look for a sub that is 1200 watts or 1000 watts? (amp specs below) I can get the amp for $60 that is why I’m looking to purchase this “low” quality amp.

that amplifier is flea market trash. it does nowhere near its rated power.the first clue is it only uses a 25 amp fuse. ohms law states volts x amps = watts so, 12 volts x 25 amps = 300 watts possible without blowing the fuse.but you also have to subtract the amplifiers efficiency from that so you are really looking at 200 to 225 watts rms possible.
