How Do I Use My KORG Chromatic Guitar Tuner?
I understand how to tune a guitar just fine.. its just how to use this specific tuner thats confusing me. I dont understand what the “calib” should be set on and stuff? can someone go into detail how this tuner works?

It looks like you have to get the guitar close to in-tune before using this. What happens is, you play a note, and the tuner figures out the closest correct note to that, and tells you if it’s sharp or flat. If you’re more than a few notes off, it may get the wrong note and you’ll have to tune the string and try again, but this type of tuner is best for non-standard tunings where a guitar-only job wouldn’t work. As for the calib, it’s set to default to A (440 Hz), but you can change that if you want to. Turning the tuner off and back on makes the calibration go back to A again. I suppose if you needed to play accompaniment to some other instrument that can’t be tuned properly, like a church organ or something, you can use the CALIB to get the tuner’s A to match the instrument’s A, and then you tune your guitar to that.
(If a church organ gets its input air from outside, it’s pretty funny – in winter, a church organ will start a song in tune and then go out of tune as its air gets colder and the pipes cool)
