What’s a good electric guitar for a beginner?
I’m thinking about getting an electric guitar for christmas and I need some opinions.
If it helps, I listen to bands like, Sybreed, In Flames, and Children of Bodom. I LIKE Heavy Metal.
If possible, could anybody post a link to a good guitar kit or something?

And let me tell you….You have good taste in heavy metal i love those 3 bands you mentioned. But you probably wont be able to play any of their song until you get to an intermediate level. I would say….I would say take classes so they can teach you the main chords and scales….then just practice couple of easy songs(heavy metal is not a good genre to start with in the guitar)…like…idk I would say if you like any…Alternative rock band…start playing their stuffs…you need to start from the bottom and them go with harder songs….I cant think of any heavy metal song that is easy to play right now…Crawl Through Knives by In Flames is not that hard…but still is not a good song to start with….System of a Down have some songs that are easy.
