A good electric-acoustic guitar?
I’ve been looking on eBay,
and so far I really like Ovation,
especially the Applause and Celebrity CS-257.i’m considering this one:

i can’t spend any more than $200 [unfortunately].
i’d love a guitar that sounds like:
tegan and sara; feist; ben harper; john west; terra naomi; the weepies.
i.e., a full, rich and clear sound…
does being a hybrid guitar affect its sound? i’m afraid it will sound too electricky for my likings…

I would take my $200.00 and go to a local “independently owned” guitar shop. “DONT GO TO A NATIONAL CHAIN” Find the owner…be up front and honest with them and see what they have in a GOOD used guitar. I have found this to be the best way to get a good deal on something that might last for a long time
