I need help with my camera focusing?
on my digital camera, if you press the button halfway it autofocuses. but it while it is adjusting it will make a beautiful picture and then focus in on blur again. I am trying to take a picture of a small piece of gold in sunlight. it never gets the details, just a gold blur and everything around it is in focus. what am i doing wrong? should i set my options a certain way? and if so what? any help is appreciated! thanks !!
It could be you are closer to the gold than your camera can focus. If you have a macro mode, you can use it and then move the camera in or out to get the gold in focus.
