how would I go about making a custom etched reticle?
I would like to make a custom etched reticle for a scope. how would I go about doing this? no, I don’t have access to a laser etcher, and I don’t want to spend the money to have someone do it for me. I was thinking I could either use a dremel or glass etching solution and a small paintbrush. Also, would/should I paint over the etching with black paint after it’s done so It stands out more? Anybody have any Ideas? any help appreciated.
Im not worried about ruining the scope. I just want to see if i can do it. I will not actually be using it for hunting, so It really doesn’t matter if it’s like new afterwards.You will ruin your scope…………..
