I am about to purchase an acoustic guitar, but I’m deciding between two and not sure which one’s better?(pics)?
I am a “beginner” guitar player…actually I haven’t even started taking lessons but I am very interested. I am going to be purchasing an acoustic but since I am not very experience with this, I don’t know which guitar would be better…

Yes, but I heard that martin strings are excellent? and they give the guitar a great sound? Also someone with experience has told me that Yamaha is a great brand for everything but guitars….and that their strings popped out the first time they played it. Personally I don’t care about the case, I can easily buy a cheap one but I just want a good quality great sounding guitar.I recommend the Yamaha for 2 reasons. First the brand name. Yamaha is a common and respected name.
Nova as far as I know is sold out of a sears catalogue. It should work fine, but don’t expect it to have great tone, longevity, or playability.
Secondly the yamaha comes with a case. Didn’t see that with the Nova. Even for storage in your closet or under your bed, having it in a case protects it and keeps the dust out.
Have fun. Music is great. I have 5 guitars in my house and they are all loved.
