does anyone know the body dimensions of a 1962 “beatle bass”?
i can’t find the right dimensions, im making a bass guitar in my shop class. only the body dimensions, not the neck or anything else

Paul McCartney was using a Hofner 3/4 length bass in 1961. That is a hollow body guitar.
I do not have a vintage Hofner sitting around, but I have a decent copy (recent vintage). Here are the measurements.
From the nut to the end of the guitar (not including the strap peg) 35 5/8 inches. The fretboard from nut to end is 22 inches and has 22 frets. The headstock is 6 3/4 inches from the top to the nut.
The body is 17 1/2 inches long. (The neck overlaps the body quite a bit) The body is 9 3/8 inches at the widest point in the top portion. It is 7 1/8 at the narrow portion. It is 11 1/8 at the widest point in the bottom portion. The body is 2 inches deep.
