Distortion & Wah-Wah pedal operating to bass guitars?
I have a dean metalman ML which I use with a Behringer SF300. I have no amp, but I’m planning to buy one soon. I want a distortion(or overdrive, or muff etc) AND wah wah pedal (2 in 1) that will operate with my bass. I have used some other guitar wahs, and the did change the overall sound, but that was all. the wah had no other use no matter if it was on the move, or on heel position, or fully pressed. I want something that will have use
Well it would definitely work, and sometimes a little distortion on bass sounds awesome, especially when recording. As far as the wah’s go, try going into a music store and just trying some out. I would recommend testing the Vox V847A wah. The bassist of my band used one and it sounded awesome. The Dunlop 535Q is pretty good too.
I havent seen a two in one, besides multi-effects pedals of course. But really it comes down to having a jack-of-all-trades pedal which has tons of effects, or have two separate pedals that are built to do produce overdrive, or wah etc. Honestly when it comes down to pedals your better off not having a multi-effects pedal, they just don’t sound as good.
