Upgrading bass guitar pickups. Decision help?!?
I have a fender MIM standard precision bass. Im already planning on buying a leoquan badass II bridge, and possibly a new neck, but I can’t decide on what pickups I should get. Im wanting to get either a set of seymour duncan antiquity II’s or a set of bill lawrence EB-60PB’s. Im mainly asking what would be the better pick up,even though both are great. Any experience with either set of pick ups or brand of pickups would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I mostly play rock and pop-punk music like green day & blink 182 but I also play some avenged sevenfold as well as some earth,wind, & fire to =D just to name afew.I personally like the Bill Lawrence pickups but it really depends on the style of music you’re playing. If you’re a jazz or blues musician then I’d recommend the Bill Lawrence pickups because the Bill Lawrence line of pickups are wound to give you that really warm vintage jazz/blues kind of tone. If you want to play rock music you’d be better off with the Duncans.
