How to tune a violin with a chromatic tuner?
I played the violin when I was younger and I just bought a new one thinking I could reteach myself. I also purchased a chromatic tuner, thinking that would be the easiest way to tune, but really I have no idea what I am doing!
First off, while I’m trying to tune in auto mode it fluctuates all over “#””Letter” and I don’t even know what a 4A is. I know what notes are, but I don’t know…What should it be for the open violin strings, just G-A-D-E without any numbers? Or what are their numbers? Is there a picture?
Secondly, I can’t get it tuned any where towards it needs to be.I have no access to a teacher or experienced violin players.
PLEASE HELP
and I know about the tuning pegs vs. fine tuners…My problem is just in execution I believe
