Witch guitar amp should i buy? – 100wtts tube amp, or solid state heads?
I play hardcore / metal kind of music, i own a couple of amps, not big amps but im making the next step on my gear, and im going to buy a half stack. but i dont know what to buy, i only heard 1 tube amp on my life, and i couldnt play with it, so i couldnt know the differences.
im thinkin about the b52 half stack at-100.
its the cheapest tube amp out there.
its that or any other brand of solid state half stacks.
so what do you think?definitely buy a tube amp. you’ll be happy with it for the rest of your life. for hardcore i would recomend a peavey 5150 as they aren’t too spendy these days and they are pretty good. I would also recomend the Orange Tiny Terror. Low watts, but still as loud as you’ll ever need.
