Is the epiphone DR 100 acoustic guitar a spruce/ solid wood top???? HELPPP!!?
Im probly going to be getting this guitar and i wanted to know if it was a solid wood top or not!!! i went to a music store and they told me it wasn’t but on this website is says it does!!!!! please HELP!
The Epiphone site says ‘select spruce top’ which probably means spruce laminate. Usually the word solid will be very visible if that’s the case. Also, at this price range, it’s highly unlikely that you’ll get solid wood. If you can spend a bit more, look into something like a Seagull. They’re very nice guitars, have solid tops (some have all solid wood), and are made in Canada instead of China. They’re actually quite reasonably priced for how nice they are.
