what acoustic guitar should i buy?
I have narrowed down my purchase on an acoustic guitar to two guitars. One is a fender sa100 and the other is a jasmine takamine s35… im stuck here they both are in my price range ($100) and they both seem to have good reviews. I have seen more reviews for the jasmine. But the other has the fender name. Plus you get a tuner bag and strap for the fender. What do you guys think i should get?

Just goes to show – Fender has an absolutely terrible reputation for their acoustic guitars, and deservedly so. They make really crappy acoustics, or more accurately some nameless Chinese company makes mediocre acoustics and slaps the Fender decal on the headstock just before they leave the factory bound for America.
The tuner they give you is crap, too. The only tuner to get for an acoustic guitar is a clamp-on tuner like the Intellitouch. I know you won’t buy it because it’s too expensive for someone buying a $99 guitar but it’s good that you know in any case.
The Tak is a better guitar although like the Fender it’s all-plywood. You’d be better off spending more and at least getting a guitar with a solid wood top but that’s up to you.
