The first one is an acoustic electric, which is a standard acoustic guitar with a built in pickup or transducer for plugging into an amp or PA. It will have metal strings, usually phosphor bronze, unlike electrics that have nickel steel strings. It has, normally, a 14 fret to the body neck and has a fairly narrow neck width though not as narrow as an electric. It is a cutaway model of a dreadnaught body style which is the larger acoustic bodies, though somewhat smaller than a Jumbo body
The 2nd one is a classical guitar which will have a 12 fret to the body neck, a wider neck width and will use nylon strings or silk and steel strings. The body is more desgned like a 00 or 000 acoustic body, sometimes known as Parlor guitars and are much smaller than the dreadnaught body and much lighter as well. These guitars are usually designed for classical or flamenco style playing, and are usually finger picked. There is one guitar player fairly well known for his classical guitar playing in country music and that’s Willie Nelson, he plays a Martin Classical, but he is the exception more than the rule. As far as which one is better it depends on what you are going to be playing. If your interest is in more contemporary music then stick with the acoustic electric, if you are into classical or Spanish style then the classical is the way to go. Though they look similar they are very different instruments in terms of tone and methodology.
